About Haute Dauge

Lola says Hello!

This is where we get to have it be... "it's all about us".  As you will see it's not really "all about us." It's more about what we do, why we do it and how... what we do, also benefits others.

Obviously, you clicked this button because you wanted to know something about who we are.  First let us welcome you to our store.  We don't know if it will ever be done.  We are always working on finding new and fun things to add to the store so things are always changing.  We are also growing in leaps and bounds, so hopefully our store will begin to reflect the many hours of work that we have put in to our site to bring this to you on line.  The Hautedauge.com e-commerce store, is basically an arm of what we have been doing for years in the operation of our mobile road store that sets up at dog shows throughout the North Western Region of the United States.  Please be sure to check out our show schedule on our site and come out and visit us if we are in your area. We would love to meet you.

So here goes, as the owners of the Haute Dauge mobile road store, hautedauge.com (our flag ship e-commerce store), Haute Dauge at Amazon.com and the fun store for dogs (our ebay store) we should have a store environment to suit your shopping needs. We are working dililgently to provide you with tons of products at the very best price possible.  Ultimately our flag ship store will be the most cost effective to run and our pricing will reflect this.   Additionally we offer more than 75 years of combined experience between ourselves and our staff which includes:

  • raising, training and exhibiting show dogs
  • obedience
  • rally
  • agility
  • training dogs to be recognized as service and assistance dogs
  • full knowledge of all types of working dogs
  • Volunteering with rescues and shelters

Why do we do this?  Our love for dogs is why we do this.

We feel that our dogs give us unconditional love, never really asking for much more than love or food, that we really need to be able to continue to find a way to give back just a percentage of what they give us.  Over the years we have become knowledgeable in so many areas of the dog world that it seemed like such a natural for us to provide a place through our stores where you can come and buy with confidence. We want you to know that the toys we provide are well thought out and studied before we ever consider adding them to our inventory.  Another huge consideration to the formula of why we do what we do is that we also love people who love dogs, and through our stores we have the opportunity to be able to interact with people about their dogs.  We love to be able to provide information and fine products to you for your pets and it is our goal to be able to enhance the lives of your dogs in a fun and safe way.  We strive to be able to add to your enjoyment of watching them play and interacting with our products and with you.  It is our greatest honor to provide you with an outstanding service, a risk free shopping experience and to be allowed to help you with our products in any way possible.  That is why we do what we do.

Earlier we mentioned in our conversation here about volunteering with Rescues.  Our staff is very active with several rescue organizations in the following ways.
  • Working to find foster homes and forever homes for dogs not as fortunate as our own.
  • Contributing time to educate and further the work of the rescue at dog and pet events.
  • Fundraising and contributing art work to attract extra money
  • Donating money for medical care and treatment for breed related medical conditions.
We also realize that there is a huge need for supplies and toys for these animals and we are quick to donate products to the rescues organizations that come to the shows where we sell. If you read this and happen to be at one of our shows with a breed rescue group, please feel free to drop by and inquire about our program to provide the rescues with toys and supplies.

Some or our other causes and organizations to which we donate are as follows:
  • Medical research for breed specific health problems.
  • 4H and Junior Showmanship
  • Professional dog sports.
  • Junior Handlers.
While what we do regarding donations, is what we consider to be a mere drop in the bucket, every penny and every minute volunteered helps.  We are happy to be able to contribute where ever and whenever we can.

They say love what you do and the rest will come.

It would be our honor to assist you in any way we can.
