Extra Fine 1/8" Weight Nylon Show Choke Collar
This nylon slip/choke style rounded braided collar is considered to be a extra fine weight collar and is great for new puppy training. Additionally it is also super for an all around walking collar good for any breed (Larger breeds if trained).
These Nylon Slip/Choke collars are made in the United States. Double stitched in the middle and reinforced for strength, the rounded style nylon braided soft type slip/choke offers an alternative to the traditional chain style choke. They are machine woven for a nice tight weave and each one is hand inspected for flaws.
The braided Nylon Choke Collars are snag-free and made from soft-silk braided nylon cord,is extremely comfortable and silky feeling. Very Strong and durable. Perfect for training or casual walking.
All collars need to be fitted properly. Measure the widest circumference of your dogs head because the collar needs to slip over it.To determine the length needed for your collar, you can measure the distance to determine inches by taking a piece of string, cord or thin rope and measure end to end to get the correct size for your dog. All of these collars are measured in that fashion and do not include the rings on the end. It is very important to use the collar correctly. Never leave it on without supervision because it's design which is great for training, can get caught and cause your pet to accidentally choke and the results could be fatal.
Many people are not aware of the correct way to put this collar on their dog. When getting ready to slip the collar over your dogs head hold it up and make sure as you look at the collar it forms the shape of a "P" with the slip part hanging down and the rounded part going over your dogs head forms an opening to your right in the shape of the "P". This way the collar will automatically go to a loose setting when not being pulled. If you see a "d" shape you are putting the collar on incorrectly and it will not release after it has been pulled on by your lead.
